The year 2021 is one of the most important years of this decade. Being the first year immediately after an unforeseen pandemic, we all have big hopes & expectations from the year.

We are hoping that this year is the year of healing from the entire crisis that rose due to the pandemic & everything that the previous year brought to the world.

2021 as a financial year will also hold significance for businesses & finances as businesses try to go back to their normal track after the pandemic & lockdowns.

Although it is not over yet, there has been some relief post the vaccine updates. So, overall 2021 is here & we are in the first month, let us hope that things get better from the new year & this year is more productive than the previous one in terms of growth, prosperity & happiness.

Coming to the GST front of it all, the past quarter has been very important with the government implementing e-Invoicing under GST & announcing to expand it to other classes of business to the changes introduced via Notification no. 94/2020.

The past quarter has seen a lot of changes going down in GST Return Filing, most of the changes introduced by the government are firm rules that establish strict compliance ground, which, if not followed may have consequences for taxpayers.
